INSTALLATION & SETUP

Prepare. Calibrate. Verify.

Use the full manual for installation. The steps below explain the workflow; dimensions and mounting allowances depend on the model and accessories.

  1. 01

    Plan the mounting position

Measure the tank and choose a position close to its geometric centre, with room for the probe and mounting hardware.

  2. 02

    Prepare the probe

Use the specified working length and model-specific clearance. Keep metal shavings out of the measuring tube and fit the supplied filter and accessories.

  3. 03

    Set the reference points

Connect the sensor to a Windows PC using the matching configuration adapter. Use AoooG Portable Configurator Client 5.7 to test readings, set empty and full reference points with the intended fuel, and add a calibration table for the tank. Verify the settings before connecting to the monitoring equipment.

  4. 04

    Mount and check the readings

Fit the gasket, seal and secure the sensor as instructed. Check the signal and tank calibration in the connected system.

AG-AF WIRING

Connect with confidence.

Connect red to the 12–30 V DC positive supply, black to ground, and yellow to the tracker’s compatible analog or frequency input. The sensor and tracker must share a common ground.

Switch off power before connecting or disconnecting the sensor. Match the tracker input to the sensor’s configured output and keep all connections secure and waterproof.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you get started.

Can this sensor measure water?

No. These capacitive fuel sensors are intended for non-conductive liquids. Water and other conductive liquids are not suitable.

Do fuel level readings equal litres?

Level and volume are different measurements. The monitoring system needs the correct data format and tank calibration to convert readings into volume for your tank.

Can I shorten the probe?

Yes. Follow the wired user guide for the cutting allowance and mounting arrangement, keep the probe free of debris and complete empty/full calibration after preparation.

Will it work with my tracker?

Your device needs a analog or frequency input and support for the sensor output or protocol. Send us the tracker model to confirm compatibility before ordering.
